Aligning with Public Health Authorities, Protecting Employees and Communication with Customers
April 3, 2020
Like all organizations, we are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are taking steps to help keep our manufacturing operations safe for our employees and for our customers. We wanted to share an update on some of the steps we are taking. As of today, all Flexan manufacturing facilities are open and operating normally.
Aligning with Public Health Authorities
The Flexan management team has implemented our Business Continuity Plans to ensure the continuation of manufacturing services. We are also closely monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to follow guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies.
Protecting Our Employees
Effective Tuesday, March 17, all employees not directly involved with manufacturing will be required to work remotely. This decision will allow us to reduce the number of individuals in each of our buildings, thereby reducing the risk of an exposure for any of our employees, and the need to suspend manufacturing operations. We will resume office-based operations when we are assured it is safe to do so. During this time, we will not be able to support any customers visits and will not be supporting any non-essential visits for our employees to non-Flexan locations.
Communication with Our Customers
We are making every effort to keep our operations running as smooth as possible while minimizing any impact to your supply chain. Our customer service and sales teams will continue to be your primary point of contact to administer your orders and provide status updates. In order to minimize the amount of email activity you are receiving, we will continue to post updates regarding our company status on our website.
We join the rest of the world in our thoughts and prayers for those who have been impacted by this virus and remain committed to doing our part in support of the prevention efforts which are necessary to end this pandemic.
Stay safe and healthy,
CEO and President, Flexan
